On 9/15/14, we traveled from Starved Rock to Peoria's IVY Club where we reconnected with many of our friends. For the next several weeks, we greeted loopers on a daily basis at IVY and became the unofficial harbor hosts. Our stay lasted for 5 weeks ending with my 50th high school class reunion. On October 17th, we loaded the truck and headed for Nashville to see our new (first) grandchild, Leah. After that we returned to our home in Florida for the winter. Though our journey ended, we continue to participate in activities with Great Loopers, serving as harbor hosts for Dunedin, FL.
This journey was an opportunity of a lifetime. We recommend it to anyone with an adventuresome spirit
