We started this blog to document our Great Loop adventure. We continued to cruise on Adagio, but in 2018 we purchased a Roadtrek Sprinter Class B RV, named Adagietto. We then purchased an Advanced RV Sprinter named Rocky, which we later traded in for Poppy. It was also from Advanced RV, but was a new design, something they called a B-Box
5/31/2026 We left the Rangely Campground in order to get to church in Meeker. Unfortunately, the 11:00 service was 8:30. We stopped in Steamboat Springs for groceries and lunch on-board. Our first choice for a campground was still closed, so we went on to Sunset Campground Arapaho National Forest at Lake Granby. We will be here two nights.

5/30/2026 After 2 weeks, we departed Utah and entered Colorado. The scenery and weather changed, too. We had the first rain since we left Ohio several weeks ago. Our choice for tonight's campsite was based on church services listed online at 5 tonight. When we arrived, the service was posted as 11:30 tomorrow. We are staying at the city campground in Rangely and will try to find a church tomorrow down the road.

Last night we selected a campsite in Needles (Canyonland) since there were still a few first come-first served sites available. It was beautiful, isolated and very quiet. Today we took the scenic drive in Needles before leaving. We stopped in Moab for lunch, dog park and groceries and then drove the scenic Potash road. Since there was a Red Flag warning and rain expected, we opted for an early BLM campsite ($10) along the Potash scenic road with the Colorado River on one side and steep cliffs on the other. Last pic is from the camper. Dark sky and light on the cliffs.

This morning we stopped at an overlook in Canyonlands and took some photos. After a brief stop in Moab, we headed for Needles, another part of Canyonlands, but more remote with fewer visitors. The drive in was beautiful. Instead of the top of the canyon like yesterday, this drive was in the canyon. We found an available campsite and parked for the night.
