Brookfield, MO is the small town where we attended church. It was one of the few churches on our trip that was full of parishioners. Afterwards we went to an expensive laundromat ($6.00 for a large washer), Walmart and then a local family restaurant. The takeaway from this small town is how friendly everyone was. Tomorrow we head for Springfield, IL.
