This was a fairly long day, but the conditions were good. We had a following sea most of the day and the waves were about 2 feet. We saw no ships in the shipping channel and boat traffic was light as we approached Mackinaw Straights. In a few days it will be crazy in this area because the Chicago to Mac Race will be underway. We stayed at Cheboygan County Marina which is just inside the breakwaters, giving us an easy in and out to Lake Huron.
