Travels with Jan & Ron

 

To catch up on the last few days:

6/10/2024 continued:

We left Nashville and headed north.  Found a Cracker Barrel and had dinner.  Nighttime temp was 50 degrees.  We slept well!!

6/11/2024:We arrived in Willoughby, OH at Advanced RV (the mothership) at 4pm.  They are ready tomorrow for our repairs!  Even though it is not always convenient to get to Willoughby, they are a great company to deal with.  We will re-route our trip tomorrow as we await repairs.

6/12/2024:Well, no news is not always good news.  A-RV worked all day on our AC problem.  The compressor was an easy replacement, but the AC fan doesn't work. At the end of today, there was no solution.  At one point there were seven specialists analyzing the problem.  The best guess is that a wire is loose.  Tomorrow they will take apart Ron's bedframe.

6/13/2024:  We have been repaired.  There was a connector to the fan control that had deteriorated and failed.  This never would have been discovered by another repair shop.  It was under warranty!  Yay!!

We looked at the weather in Illinois and have decided to stay here another night since severe storms are predicted there.  We will head for Pekin tomorrow as we return to our original route to Alaska (Santa Fe, NM)
