June 4, 2024 PREPARING FOR THE TRIP
Ten years ago, we traveled by boat
The preparation for our trip seems endless. How do you pack for a 3 month RV trip when moving from a 2400 square foot home to 120 square feet on Poppy? We use plastic boxes for nearly everything (i.e. clothing, shoes, food, toiletries, towels, sheets,) I pack as if I might never see my clothes and shoes again, so my philosophy is take it with you!
Departure date is planned for Friday, June 7th. First stop will be a campground int the Florida Panhandle. We plan to visit New Orleans to see the WWII Museum and then on to Texas to visit the Bush Presidential Library in College Station and then on to Port Aransas to see family.
